Audio Visual Installation Completed at Rossington Leisure Centre, Doncaster

We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of another audio visual installation project, this time at Rossington Leisure Centre near Doncaster. The project focused on enhancing the audio and visual experience for gym users and community members.

Audio System Upgrade

In the main gym area upstairs, we installed eight Martin Audio Adorn A55 black background music speakers. These speakers were strategically mounted onto the overhead steel girders to ensure comprehensive coverage throughout the workout areas. The Martin Audio Adorn A55 speakers deliver excellent sound quality, creating an energizing and motivating atmosphere for gym-goers.

For the community room downstairs, which features a low ceiling, we installed eight Martin Audio C6.8T flush mount ceiling speakers. These speakers provide clear and balanced audio without compromising the room’s aesthetics or functionality. Additionally, a pair of Apart Audio ceiling speakers were installed in the small weights room upstairs, ensuring consistent audio quality throughout the facility.

Visual Display Solutions

To enhance the visual experience, we installed five Samsung 55″ smart TV display screens on flat wall mount brackets in various areas of the gym. These screens are connected to a freeview system, allowing each TV to display a different channel. We also installed additional aerial points for the running machines, utilizing the same aerial distribution system.

A central feature of the gym area is the 55″ wireless Digital Signage Display Screen. This screen showcases current company offers, promotions, and other advertising content, which is constantly updated via the company’s online CMS system. The CMS system allows the leisure centre to easily update content specific to each location.

The gym’s audio system is centralized within a lockable, floor-standing equipment rack cabinet for security and organization. This cabinet houses a Cloud Z4 four-zone mixer, enabling independent audio control for different areas of the gym. Powering the system are four RCF stereo amplifiers and a Citronic stereo amplifier, ensuring ample headroom and clear sound reproduction. The client’s media player is also integrated, providing a consistent source of background music throughout the facility.

Each zone benefits from dedicated control via wall-mounted Cloud RSL6 plates. These plates offer users intuitive source selection and volume adjustment, allowing for personalized audio experiences in each area. Furthermore, local iPod input plates are strategically placed throughout the gym, giving users the option to connect their own audio devices and play their preferred music. This combination of centralized control and localized input options creates a flexible and user-friendly audio environment for the entire gym.
