Audio Visual Installation York

We are proud to announce the completion of our latest audio visual installation project at the Marriott Hotel in York. Our team has worked diligently to provide a cutting-edge AV system in the hotel’s main conference room.

Our installation includes eight Apart Audio Mask 6 speakers in white, providing high-quality sound throughout the room. The speakers are installed in the roof void, hidden from sight but still delivering excellent coverage. Two Crown Amplifiers power the speakers, ensuring optimal performance and sound clarity.

We also installed a Benq short-throw projector, which is located in the ceiling void on a Btech ceiling mount bracket. The projector is connected to the existing projection screen, providing clear and bright images for presentations and videos. A VGA and HDMI over CAT5 wall plate are installed at low level, providing easy access for connecting various devices.

To ensure seamless audio transmission, we installed two Audio Technica radio microphones. These microphones are connected to an Audio Technica antenna distribution unit, which simplifies the antenna system and reduces the number of antennas required. The flight case we provided houses the Behringer PA Mixer, two Audio Technica handheld mics, and two Audio Technica lapel mics, all connected to the antenna distribution unit.

For added convenience, we provided various audio plug-in points for an iPod and other devices. The flight case also includes remote volume control, allowing easy adjustment of sound levels.

In the back office, we installed the Crown Amplifiers and Cloud CX263 Zoner Mixer in a metal rack cabinet, which we wall-mounted out of the way. The system is connected to two Cloud RSL 6 remote volume plates in the main room, giving users the ability to alter the level and source selection in either room, which has a partition wall.

Coupled with a portable PA system, the boundary microphones ensure that every member of the congregation, regardless of their location within the garden, can clearly hear and fully participate in the ceremony. This setup minimizes distractions and creates a more immersive and engaging experience for all attendees.
