AV Installations York

AV Installations York – we have a completed a AV installation at St Edwards Church in York with the install of a Kramer HDMI 8 way distribution system & six HDMI over CAT5 senders and receivers along with a Maxone PTZ camera and camera controller. We also provided the church with a Samsung 22″ preview monitor housed in a Quadra custom built wooden case.

We have replaced their old VGA distribution system with a new Kramer HDMI over DGKAT 6 distribution system which feeds five large screen TV’s installed around the church giving them a much better picture quality.

Part of the AV installation was to provide a preview monitor for the priest so we had a custom built cabinet made by Quadra AV which houses a Samsung 22″ monitor screen housed in the cabinet at low level on wheels so that it can be moved out of the way when not in use.

At the front of the church we installed a Kramer HDMI over CAT 6 wall plate so that they can use their laptop at the front of the church for displaying presentations.

Within the existing wooden cabinet at the rear of the church we have re-used their existing Kramer scaler and installed a Kramer 1 in 8 out HDMI distribution amplifier along with six HDMI over CAT6 senders and a Kramer HDMI over CAT6 receiver which receives its signal from the wall plate at the front of the church.

Another part of the AV installation was to replace their existing fixed CCTV camera which displays the altar on all of the TV screens within the church area and also sends the feed into the main hall TV system.
We opted to use a Maxone Pan & Tilt high definition dome camera and PTZ controller which we installed in the same position but this gives them the facility to position it remotely to any part of the front of the church.
